General Description

Our custom designs are meticulously hand-cut 'a spacco,' drawing inspiration from original Roman mosaic designs or paintings to craft distinctive patterns suitable for both modern and classic spaces.

Dimensions

The tesseres utilized for creating mosaics come in various sizes, ranging from as small as 3/16” (0.5 cm), known as ‘micromosaic’ for intricate work, to larger sizes up to 1”x 1”. These differently sized tesseres cater to the varying intricacies and dimensions of mosaic projects, offering flexibility and precision in design.

COLORs

We carefully source all possible colors available by selecting natural stones, including marble, granite, and onyx, that best match the unique characteristics of the design we aim to recreate. This meticulous selection process ensures that each material harmonizes perfectly with the intended aesthetic and structural requirements.

TEXTURES

You can choose from a variety of textures such as split-face, tumbled, honed, or polished to perfectly complement your desired aesthetic.

Typically the customer or designer provides us with their general idea, often including an image of something they would like us to reproduce. We then collaborate closely by developing detailed, colored drawings that capture the proposed design and finishes. Once the client approves these drawings, fabrication begins. Images and updates of the work in progress are shared regularly with the client to ensure transparency and alignment. The final phase is the installation, when the completed piece is carefully delivered and installed on site.

A CUSTOM MOSAIC TABLE TOP 64”x64” with an outer border of our ETRUSCAN STONE

A 16’ circular MOSAIC medallion for an entryway crafted in the Palladiana style, a time-honored technique that assembles designs from irregular, split pieces of marble and enamel, carefully searching for the precise fit piece by piece. This method demands exceptional manual skill and seasoned experience, two defining qualities that make our work singular and of the highest caliber. This project featured a handcrafted floral and rose theme executed in natural marble stone mosaic: a vibrant bouquet of rose blossoms in shades of peach, cream, yellow, and burgundy, set against lush dark green foliage and a restrained neutral background to enhance depth and elegance.
